Knee rugs, wrist warmers, fingerless gloves, shawls (not to lacy), slot/slid scarves, cuddly toys and bedsocks. NO BEANIES/HATS please. All machine washable yarn, thanks.

Ponchos for women & girls 4-12yrs, boys jumpers, trauma teddies/cuddly toys, slippers, socks (child & adult) fingerless gloves, scarves, beanies, small rugs (120cm sq) Use Machine washable wool if possible

The Footpath Library (Sydney NSW)

beanies and scarves for men, women and children (of all ages). Because a lot of the children are aboriginal some red yellow and black beanies would be sensational. Otherwise the men prefer fairly plain colours. A few baby blankets could be very useful too.

For the homeless: mens beanies, gloves & scarves. For the women's shelter -ladies bedsox. For the Mental Health Support: men's and women's beanies and bedsox.

NO fluffy or Muppet wool as sometimes the children's age is not the same as their mental age and don't understand not to put things in their mouth and it tends to fall apart in the big washing machines too.

Lyell McEwin Hospital requires large premmie and newborn baby clothing in particular Cot blankets, Knitted jackets (not so much booties or bonnets though), Trauma teddies or any knitted toys- all items to go into Baby Baskets given to new Mums. Anglicare require any items to suit ages from baby to 9-10 yr olds.

12 DECEMBER

WOW - Wildlife Of Werribee

Pouches, pouch liners, nests and rugs/blankets. Size is not important - wildlife come in all shapes and sizes.
