ACTION (Adult Children Taking Implementation On Now) (Adelaide) Advocates and lobbies for supports and services to be put in place within the mental health care system for children of parents living with a mental illness. The ultimate aim is to explain parental mental illness to young children. The Bunnies are given to children with Resources, for comfort and to encourage understanding of mental illness and reduce the stigma

The Footpath Library (Sydney NSW)

The most needed items are men's beanies and scarves in plain dark colours like grey, black, navy, brown, and some of them have big heads! These will go mostly on the street but also to the single mens hostels where there are a number of older men who really feel the cold. We still have women's and children's items left from 2012 so don't need the emphasis on them this year.

JUNE

ac.care (Anglican Community Care) (Waikerie SA)

beanies, gloves, toys etc for the homeless or people in emergency care. They would particularly like blankets/rugs - crochet we would like 25cm squares or completed blankets. For knitters we would like 8 ply wool 40 stitches and 80 rows for squares or a strip of 40 stitches and 400 rows (with as many colour changes as they like) - quicker to sew up.

JULY 

TIME FOR KIDS (Adelaide SA) - Helps disadvantaged children and young people by matching them with volunteer carers or mentors on a regular part-time basis.

Clothes for children aged from 3 to 17 years. This includes scarves, beanies and rugs as well as clothing. Older children particularly like items in Port Adelaide Football Club or Adelaide Football Club colours. Knitted/crocheted/sewn toys and doll and teddy clothing.

JULY 

Victorian Dog Rescue and Resource Group (Dandenong Vic)

Dog coats, all sizes, dog and cat blankets & toys.

AUGUST

Little Wonder RPA (Sydney NSW)

Presently we have surplus stocks of beanies so we will not require any of these but we need blankets for the hospital and knits for winter in premmie / newborn sizes through to around size 2. By knits I mean cardigans, jumpers, tops etc and the blankets should ideally be sized to fit a cot.

The Australian Outback Baby Project

Booties to match our hundreds of hats. Every size is acceptable and every colour. Cocoons (for 10-24 week gestations) Blankets - 30x30cm, 60x60cm and 90x90cms (approximately as every pattern is different) Gowns - 24 to 40 week gestation, any colour, even ones that are all red; all gold; black/red/gold for the Aboriginal babies. Pastels (especially peach, mauve). We need more peach, white, lemon, mauve in sets but not much spearmint. Bright colours are fine but not fluro. Teddy bears and toys (PLEASE, no Trauma Teddy Bears from the Red Cross pattern.) The eyes must be stitched on. We are now looking after a battered womens refuge as well so we accept knitted/sewn/crocheted baby items to size 2 (new).

Sewing - PJs size 1 to 4, boys and girls, Store Bought PJ's are also acceptable. Knitting, quilted or crocheted cot size blankets (esp boy or unisex colours) 100cm (wide) x 120cm (length). Floor rug for toy packs. Could be polar fleece or knitted, something the babies could sit on or you could have on the lounge.
