 fingerless gloves, socks beanies, scarves, personal hygiene products including feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, combs, brushes, shampoo, conditioner, drawstring bags ( preferably with waterproof backing) - can be made from old curtains, jumpers up to 7xl for both sexes, tracksuit pants up to 3xl, t-shirts/polo shirts up to 7xl. ( there are a lot of homeless in Albury/Wodonga who are larger and who are often forgotten), I try to include a little something special for the women like a cheap perfume or special soap just to make them feel special.

SOFT beanies and chemo hats in adult sizes only. Seamless knit/crocheted/loomed styles, no open or lacy pattern over the crown. Any yarn is acceptable, as long as it feels SOFT against bare skin (please avoid green colours).

Items are used in Starter Kits that will be available for mums being discharged from hospital who have nothing at all for their newborn. Hopefully the contents of this kit will help them over the first few days at home. We expect the Kits will also be handed out to mums-to-be who might need a helping hand prior to giving birth. We have created a Kit that is pretty and practical, it doesn't contain a lot of items but we are hoping to bring a smile to some faces. These Kits are in addition to our bigger Baby Welcome Kits which will still be needed for many families.

FNQ CROCHET for CANCER (QLD)

Knitted or crocheted rugs and adult beanies. Rugs need to be new and unused, to be between 80 and 120 cm, acrylic only, bright colours including suitable for men. Rugs and beanies are wrapped in cellophane and are gifted to Gordonvale palliative hospital, Elizabeth Plummer cancer ward at cairns base hospital and OPERA ward (older persons assessment and rehabilitation) at cairns hospital. Sometimes rugs are sent to outlying small hospitals and centres.

WOOMERA ABORIGINAL CORPORATION ALBURY (NSW)

Clothing including socks and underwear for 0-18-year-olds, hygiene items, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, face cloths, wipes, aboriginal coloured scarves and beanies. These items are used for out of home care and when these children come into care they have nothing. Everything we provide is very appreciated.

ROTARY GOLD COAST FOR SEAFARERS MISSION PT HEDLAND

Mens beanies longer than the usual size so that they can be turned up or pulled down for extra warmth around the face. Rotary Gold Coast have been asked to help supply 2,000 beanies by November.
